i have my Irish twins :-) my boy was born January 17-07 and my daughter January 17-08 :-)

@mrscalderon, same here almost. Bentley will be one in march(26) and according to my last period I'm due Sept!

Well for the most part everyone was pretty excited and those who wernt I really didn't care because I was happy! As far as I was concerned they could jump in a lake if they wernt happy for us. But it was a good overall reaction! @youngb. Irish twins rule ;)

@mili203, that is so neat! & @tater4414 my dad didn't respond how I thought he would & I've let it hurt my feelings cause I'm such a daddy's girl even at 25 lol I guess he was just shocked no one expected me to even have the first one let along be pregnant again lol

He will get used to it don't worry I'm sure it just really took him by surprise. It could also be kind of hard for him to accept being a grandpa hehe

@youngb, I'm starting to think it's just that way with 2nd babies altogether regardless of age difference. my daughter was 13 months when I got pregnant and I'm 21 weeks now. people who were really excited about my daughter act like they could careless about this one. it hurt my feelings at first but then it's less crap I have to deal with because my husband's family made our lives hell with my daughter. they are the ones acting like they could careless but idc anymore. neither of my kids need anyone other than their father and I.

This baby I'm about to have will be 22-23 months apart from my first.

@youngb, and your dad will get use to it Hun. Mine was the same way. He acted disappointed & it really broke my heart because I'm a daddy's girl too, but when I went to his house to show my mom my ultrasound he was peeking lol then when my daughter started kicking I forced him to feel it & it absolutely amazed him. Then when she was born he cried (my dad has never cried in front of me except the 1st time he held my little girl). Now with this pregnancy he can't keep his hands off my tummy lol

I really hope my dads never been real affectionate but I expected more than his response. He texted me later and told me he was happy and loved me but I guess he was just shocked. @momma312
