Hey ladies,
New to the site but loving it already! So I'm 5 weeks preggo with baby number 2? My fiancé and I will be getting married the day after Valentine's Day next month! We have a 2 yr old daughter who is not my fiancé's biologically but he's been her father since she was 6months! My question to you ladies is do you think it would be wrong for me to change Serenitys last name to my married name! Her biological father does nothing for her! He comes around on the holidays only!! And every blue moon when his mother wants to see her🙄 I really don't want her to feel left out or like an outcast. Especially when the baby comes and she realizes she is the only one in the house with a different last name! Right now she shares a last name with her bio dad! What do you ladies think??? 🤔🤔

I would definitely give her his last name especially since her biological father is no longer in yalls lives!

if your new man adopts her, by all means give her his last name. the way I see it, the man who is there for her and is a father to her is her father. the other guy is just the sperm donor.

it's hard especially when my dad wasn't around, and you know my mom and granny every had the same last name Gregory and mine was Lucas I was to young to understand why i had to be differe t but even as i got older it hurt more:/ glad i could help:)@mommy_of_tew16

Change her name she deserves to be a full member of the family in name also!
Lol I mean that's what he is. he isn't being a father so basically all he did was provide the sperm to create her haha
