so for all of you mommies who are about to pop! has anyone thought about using evening primrose oil to help thin out the cervix???
You'll probably have to do a bit of Google searching and reading to get a better understanding. Thats what I did. They say you can start at 35 weeks and you can use it two different ways, just depends on your preference. @jojojujuandscarlett
Great lol what's the best time to do it after 37 weeks right or can it work right away? I just want to know if I start at 37 weeks if it will take a week or two to work?@their.bomb.ass.mom
I've never heard of it causing any problems. My doctor said it was 100% okay and she recommends it to women who are "eager" for their babies, and tries to stray them away from other things, like castor oil. @jojojujuandscarlett
really @mommi321 I'm kind of scared to and I don't want my doctor freaking out on me lol she's a close friend as well I've heard it can cause problems is that true? @mommi321 @momof3boyz @their.bomb.ass.mom
no I used them and them didn't cause any infection they worked to help put me into my labor . my daughter was over 40weeks but I know many who done it sooner...it have to be done at least 4times a day
that's a good question. I have a bladder infection right now..wonder if it's still safe. @jaeparm @jojojujuandscarlett @their.bomb.ass.mom
will it cause infection or anything? my ph balance down there is really sensitive @momof3boyz @jojojujuandscarlett @their.bomb.ass.mom
Lol oh yes! thats about the only thing I plan on doing though, besides walking, and some spicy foods! some people go crazy with it!
craziness we willing to do to get these babies out. haha @their.bomb.ass.mom
Yup, I've heard of that! Lol. I only planned on stabbing a hole in one and placing it up there at night every other night to help. 😂😂 I couldn't do 6-7 at one time!
I read somewhere that a lady busted open 6-7 and used a medicine syringe to shoot it up there. lol seems awkward but she said she did it twice and went into labor. @jojojujuandscarlett @their.bomb.ass.mom
I've seen it at Walmart, it's usually around the vitamin section. It's called Evening Primrose Oil. They're little capsules. @jojojujuandscarlett
I never thought to try it with my first, and I wish I would have to see if it'd help. but oh well! I've heard it helps everything less likely to tear too, that's mainly what I wanna try it for. they say you can take it orally and vaginally, so I plan on taking it orally at 35 weeks, then vaginally starting at 38, just in case it does make me dilate super fast, if anything happens at least baby will be ready to go!
I'm trying to decide if I wanna try it. it's baby #3 so if it works and I thin cervix out...I'm scared I might go realllllly fast. lol I'm already dilated at least 1..I find out tomorrow if I'm dilated more. @their.bomb.ass.mom
Ok thanks so much @their.bomb.ass.mom
