So the church ladies take turns each day bringing me a a meal daily for the first 2wks after giving birth.. Well today is my preacher and his wife's day.. She calls me saying (rude tone) "if you're husband is near us he can just pick it up so we don't have to figure out were you live!"... For one.. My husband isn't working no were near your home.. And everyone else has brought us our meal (because ur supposed to bring it to there home 🏡 not go pick it up elsewhere, if that was the case we would just eat out ) that's the reason for making the new mother /family a meal in our church I thought.. She was so rude about it.. I had asked for the meals to come around 🕔 5pm and she rudely said.. It will be waaay after 6..she just didn't have to be rude is all

I'm sorry that happened, hopefully she'll come around to realize what she said and maybe she'll make it right. I remember nannying for my cousin and we got fresh homemade meals everyday for a month from church friends and family. It was so lovely. I hope you enjoy the rest of the meals you get!

Wow that was rude. You have small children who are all going to want to eat around 5pm they are not going to want to wait or understand why dinner is so late. My kids start bugging me about dinner at 3:30-4pm sometimes and I'm like I'll start dinner at 4:30 like I do every night lol hope things get better I'm so sorry you have had such a rotten experience with the nursing situation and the meals. If I was from your church I would ask you what's your family's favorite meal is and make it for you including a desert. @blessedw7
