guys my heart hurts, i don't know what to do. I'm almost 6 weeks along with my second, i have a 5 month old son, and my mother keeps on asking if I'm pregnant. i keep telling her no because she will flip. so her response is "good, that would be bad." "you cant afford that, and your body won't handle it either". So i keep it to myself and then today apparently one of her friends tells her she feels bad for my mom if i am pregnant again. It really hurts my heart knowing how people feel. This is why I tell no one anything. what should i do? i am an adult, married, have my own place, i have a good job, my husband is on his way to a management position. i just dont get why people can't be more supportive. When i had my son, my mom was somewhat supportive but when she got upset with me all she could do was call me a whore and tell me "i didnt tell you to spread your legs and make a baby" I would get her out of my life, but sadly i cant, she babysits. She is so toxic to be around but i have no choice. help!

my mom did that to me:/ just wait and see if something changes at the end of the day though girl you have your own life and your married its not like she's still raising you she really has no right to say that@fubbily

@hermommy, last time i told her i was pregnant, she went off the deep end. tried killing herself. literally. then she came around and from time to time she was rude to me. only time it changed was when my son was born.

what the hell, okay I'd wait as long as possible before telling her. not just for you and the babys sake but also for hers do you know why she does that??@fubbily

you shouldn't have to go through that. you are married. you have your own life and you're entitled for your own decisions. just like @hermommy said. she has no right. enjoy your family and the desicions you've made .

but the thing is girl at 17 she may have had a minor reason to react the way she did but your 19 now one year maybe not even that away from 20, she should be excited to have grandbabies that love her and a daughter that cares about her:/@fubbily

have your husband be with you while you tell her. she can't do anything other than get mad and bring it up every time she can. dont do it alone. You're doing what you can to make everything right and your husband is providing for you. Try to also be in her shows and understand where she's coming from, although that doesn't give her any right to treat you that way but she's probably also hurt. at the end of the day, she's hurting you too. you can find a sitter or don't work for awhile so you can stay home taking care of your kids instead of having her. maybe that's why she thinks she can talk to you like that because you still need her.

She sounds mentally unstable if she's threatening to take her life of ur prego and I wouldn't trust someone like that to babysit my child!

Omg, that is so awful and you and some others are going through this. Any mother who talks to their own daughters like that doesn't deserve to be around her daughter or her babies. Sounds like she needs some serious mental help..you are married both you and your spouse have a job, she needs to chill.

Mothers just worry and don't always have the right words to say. I would write her a letter, then she can't interrupt you and she will understand exactly how you feel. But it's better to tell her sooner than later so you don't have that stress on you and the baby. If she's upset, that's on her. Just show her you are happy with your life, she will come around eventually. Hang in there girlie ❤️

Hang in there! Don't take it to heart, your doing an amazing job ❤️😘

I would not let anyone with a mental state like that babysit my baby. I'd look into someone else girl.. and how to tell her. JUST tell her straight up, be confident be proud.

@greenlandnichole, yeah we're looking into possibly having me be a stay at home mom. if my husband gets this management position hell be making more than what both of us make together. if not his grandma might possibly have to.
Nichole·
I think thats a really good idea girl friend. You really shouldn't be so sad at such a happy time, stress is so not good for you or the baby. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Please just get this off of your chest and be happy and not stressed and sad because of someone's unfortunate judgmental and controlling issues. You're an adult, you got this. Just tell her and be confident and proud when you do.
