I am 38 wks and 1 day today. Yesterday I was only 2 cm dilated so my dr stripped my membranes hoping that it would bring labor on. I have never had this done before and I think I lost my mucus plug (bloody show?) only a few hrs after I got home but I have been passing some light to dark brown stings (looks kind of like the small elastics in underwear bands). Sorry for TMI. Can you please help? Are these the acting membranes being passed before my water breaks? Never had any of this before bc this is my 4th baby and I have NEVER had anything other than contractions and back labor. I have never lost my plug, bloody show, stripped membranes or water broke until I was in the hospital.
