I need medical advice from someone. This doesn't have to do with me or baby, but my grandma came to me last night (1ish in the morning) asking if I could look up on google signs of a blood clot in her leg. I read many different sites and she has a lot of the syptoms even the ones that say when to call a doctor, I have noticed she has been walking around with a limp and a bad one at that for about 2-3 weeks now. She thought at first she just pulled a muscle. When she came to me with the concern I knew she wasn't joking and something serious might be happening because my grandma is stubborn as all hell when it comes to doctors and hospitals. She is a diabetic, has high blood pressure, she has a pacemaker in, and has a history of strokes along with many other things. Should I call her doctor and schedule and appointment as soon as possible or just force her to go to the er.??? Please no hate

I would make her go to the ER

I would call the doctor and see if they could get her in today. If they cant, I would take her to the ER. Blood clots can move fast, and usually dont have a good outcome if not treated promptly. I hope everything is okay!

@rhia, @sarahemccormick I called her doctor ( currently on the phone with them) and dr said to take her to the er. Thank you ladies. I couldn't get ahold of their office for anything and I'm panicking

I would def call .. Does it feel warm around the area? Be careful not to push on it to much ..... Also when she flexes her toes down towards the floor does it hurt her ?

@foreveryoung247, she said it hurts a little bit when she points her toes. She said when she lays down she can't lay on her right side because it hurts so bad
