just tell them they are violating your hippa and you want a single occupancy room or you want a double room without a roommate.

they not suppose to disclose any of your information while another patient is in the room... that's not following HIPPA. . you have a right to get moved to a private room, if one is available to you @_stephanie.g

@leiibaaaby, unless they are removing your roommate from the room when they come in and tell you anything about you or the baby then yes they are bc like someone above said they can't discuss anything in front of someone else unless you allow them too.
