Hey ladies I have a sensitive thing to ask, at the beginning of my pregnancy they did std/sti testing. I came back positive for chlamydia, obviously I was given antibiotics and the issue was cleared up. However now I just feel like they might have missed something else. I just feel "dirty" per say like if I had one thing I must have them all.
My question is if they tested and found chlamydia then the dr also probably tested for herpesvirus and other known stds right? So maybe I'm just overthinking and being insecure? Or is it possible that they didn't test everything or missed something?
from my experience in esthetics, I THINK what you're experiencing is simply ingrown hairs. sometimes because of prenatals your hair can potentially grow a little faster, as well as from the new surge of hormones in your body. when this happens there's times when the hair doesn't break from the folical and gets trapped under the skin. Get a long handled body scrub and exfoliate that area and see if that helps any.
I'm NOT a medical expert, but that might be able to ease your mind a little until you can talk to your doc about it.
I would try to call your doctor before your appointment and have them ask for everyone to leave the room during your next appointment so you can talk.about it. they may still want to do a quick biopsy of them to make sure cause that's like the only accurate way to test for herpes. don't feel ashamed better to be safer then sorry. @queen_loren
That sounds like it could be a yeast infection! I've had those before but no other symptoms of a yeast infection and turns out...that's what it was!
That's what I thought too. I have these, idk like pimples around my lower butt cheeks and I've looked up every possible reason for them. They do not match up with any std symptom or bump so I have no idea if they are just a pregnancy thing or more serious. They will pop and will not come back in the same spot, they are not clustered or painful in any manner. I think I'm just going crazy but I'm scared to ask my dr about them in front of my mother in law and fiancé.
to piggy back on what @sophiasmum said with the hormone changes it might acne, I got some on the inside of my leg area and on my shoulders once I got farther along.. if you're worried definitely ask your Dr momma best of luck!@queen_loren
