I really wanted another baby and for my son to have a sibling but I feel like such an incompetent…

Have you tried maybe putting him in one of your shirts that smell like you? It might be comforting to him to smell your scent

I didn't think that would still work because he's two but I can definitely give that a try. he's coslept with us and it's just time for him to move out

It might help, and I definitely understand where your coming from. It can be super frustrating when you can't figure out how to make his own room appealing to him so he'll sleep in there.

people may not agree but when I first started switching my son to his own bed I would read a book and lay with him till he fell asleep. Over time all I had to was read the book rub his back and give him and kiss and he would be okay with me leaving the room.

I did that tonight but he woke up when I try to leave. at one point reading and saying goodnight was all it took. I'm so tired so I just left. @momhearts3

sometimes you just need to let them cry it out. Eventually he will realize he needs to go to bed. stay strong :)

try having you husband tell him nicely that its bedtime , my son is 2 and does the same thing in his room he crys when i tell him but when my fiance goes and tells him he gets quiet and eventually goes to sleep
