I waited until 6wks. I didn't want to risk infection primarily. I was feeling up to it before then, but just because your actual vagina feels ok, doesn't mean the hole where the placenta was attached to your uterus is healed. I recommend waiting, just like the doctors do. I know it can be difficult, but it's worth the wait.

we waited about 2 1/2 weeks then the rest of the next 4 months after I got my first PD we didn't cos my birth control had me bleeding heavy constantly for 4 months just about...needless to say we're sticking to the rubbers.
