This chick came in my office today & after being in there for 5-10 minutes or so, she mentions that she has SHINGLES!!!!!! There is NOTHING that pisses me off more than when people are very obviously sick & they still come around other people... Especially a pregnant woman! Are you kidding me?!?! Shingles is highly contagious & we work in a school!!!! 😤😤 This pissed me off that someone could be so dumb and selfish as to voluntarily come around me, 7 months pregnant, while having shingles. Some people!

please tell me you informed her of how her stupid selfish decision could affect you and your unborn child? I hate people like that! I hope you don't get it :(

@jessica415, normally when I have a patient on shingles we always put them on contact precaution in the hospital. She need not be around anyone much less a pregnant woman or young kids.
