Any other mom's to be seriously contemplating quitting their jobs?!? So much to think about and it…

I did. I already planned on not working after the baby came, but the more I was there the more I wanted to be home. I seriously feel so much better.

I just feel like it's such a drag and I'd be able to focus on other important things more if I could just stay home....but then I'd have to rely on assistance which I really don't like but it's almost a better option than both of us busting our butt @alexalexa

@babyboubou, I totally understand. I will say it's been a month and I am SO much happier. I don't feel the pressure anymore and it's really nice.

Yes I am contemplating quitting my job but only if my husband and I decide its a feasible option financially if not I will work until we can make it work financially, even as much as it sucks and I would much rather be home to take care of my baby it's the responsible thing to do. I think it's very irresponsible to quit a job to go on assistance...you do realize that people have to pay for you to do nothing all day, just because you want to.

@alexalexa, I do have an eBay thing going to make side cash that hasn't gotten my full attention lately.....I was thinking about focusing on that

definitely didn't plan on it but when i was 9 weeks i quit my job. I just couldn't handle the negativity at my job, and my morning sickness was extremely bad during my first trimester.. which they weren't sensitive to, so working 45+ hours a week was not ideal for me. it feels weird to say this but being unemployed = less stress in my life. i am happy with my decision, and wouldn't change it. it also means having a lot of time on your hands, for me in the beginning it was nice but i find myself getting restless lately lol.

@dollface, I have my eBay I'd love to work on building up again so I definitely wouldn't be bored but I hate the fact that if I don't bring in enough money I'd have to rely on assistance and I'm just not that type

@babyboubou, no issue, just keep working, as a mom you do what you have to do to give the baby best, even if it sucks for you for the time being. If you really want to stay home make a financial plan to make that happen, on your own merits not on the back of the taxpayers.

@babyboubou, do that! We are fortunate enough that my husband has an amazing job so I can stay at home. But I plan on babysitting from home to make some extra cash. As long as you do what makes you happy, you made the right decision. Yeah things might get rough for a little bit but you guys will figure out how to make it work. Just keep positive thoughts, good luck girly.

@babyboubou, quitting work is alllllll I've been thinking about. I'm pretty positive that I'm going to after the baby is born...I'm having issues now but I really want to try to work as long as I can. i just want to be at home for some reason

@babyboubou, same...that's what I'm worried about. I do not want my baby in daycare though so I'm pretty set on it happening after having her...childcare is so expensive anyway, it would be like I was working just to pay for daycare so it would make more sense to just stay home and take care of her myself

@jderr220, I agree there, but I do have a pretty easy going job that I could take baby with me, but I only get every other weekend off, if I'm lucky.....it's just alot to handle already and adding a baby to it all? if I can make up the income with ebay and or an online job or something then I think I'd rather that

@babyboubou, yeah I feel like bringing the baby with you would be overwhelming 😕 I saw a couple different options for online jobs but I honestly don't really understand how they work. I think I'd have to call and ask haha. there's a lot of options for selling things but I'm really not into that at all

@jderr220, I love doing my eBay, but it's slow income sometimes. ....I was looking into online tutoring and a few others too.....currently I do pca work but I feel like taking care of my client and taking care of a baby would be a lot to handle so I'm looking at my options
