I'm warning you now, this is a rant alert...

I am so sick of going on Government agency pages and seeing people complaining about the snow. The sense of entitlement is irking every pregnant hormone I have in my body...

"My governor isn't doing his job because my road isn't plowed/your snow plows plowed me in"

How is it the governors fault that it snowed over 30 inches? I did my usual 40 minute drive today, and yeah some of the roads were tight or weren't completely cleared, but they had all been touched at least. Due to refreeze, there is only so much they can do, but 695 is 95% clear. All roads by me have at least 1 lane open. I didn't know Hogan controlled how much snow we got. He must be God.

"I live on a side street and they didn't plow mine yet"

then get off your fat lazy ass and shovel. seriously. we knew we had somewhere to be today,. our driveway is all the way up the side of the house and then to the back of the house, not some dinky little one car driveway. the entire backyard. My SO went out and did it because he knew we had somewhere to be. When picking up my son, someone left a note on the side walk on cardboard asking the plow truck to plow their drive way. that's not how this word works. get out there and do it. pay a neighborhood kid to do it. pay someone on craigslist. or just dont!!! if you have somewhere to be, walk outside and call an uber. They know this is prime money making time and will make sure you get to where you're going. The snow is no one's fault. it fell from the sky. they are doing the best they can to clear it. for the love of god, if you don't like how they are doing it, do it yourself.

@littlemissrainesmommy, LOL!! There was so much more I wanted to say, but I get that everyone has a different situation. I'm just so sick of people never being happy. The police posted this story about how an ederly woman called and said she couldn't get out of her house, so officers went over and dug her out. People were all up in arms "where does she need to go? she's old!" "I bet if someone in the hood called they'd be arrested". total dumb shit. the snow is halfway up her door. what if she had an emergency and they couldn't get to her? what if she had to get to dialisys, meals on wheels, freaking anything? she's old. you're not.

I get this is a rant post but like really... you think its about entitlement? I live on an emergency snow route therefore I am not allowed to park on my street at all or my car will be towed. I HAD to park on a side street and they plowed that very shitty besides the fact that its only a one side parking road and they decided to turn the plows towards everyone's cars. I'm 32 weeks pregnant it is an issue because if it wasn't for my amazing boyfriend my car would still be completely buried and I wouldnt be able to walk down that road due to it being so slippery. there's still about an inch of snow on almost all side rides in my town. front wheel drive and a hilly town is completely impossible to just get over. I get this is a rant post trust me I do but its very opinionated and not right. not everyone is lazy and feeling like they deserve it done for them some people can't do it themselves. fuck man.

@charleerose, I get its irritating, but seriously, who's to blame? it's snow. it happens in the winter. there are so many bigger problems than being snowed in. they are doing the best they possibly can given the situation. it's not easy to plow thesestreets. it's not like "what's taking them so long?" 33 inches of snow. that's what. I had to watch 3 or 4 plow trucks getting stuck within a block of eachother because that's how bad it is. they are literally doing all they can.

my whole family plows. my dad blew his rear end and broke his Axel. a huge township MACK truck snapped its plow in half. yeah I get the frustration. there's simple fixes to what they did though. like there was a side without cars you can turn the plows to push the snow the opposite direction. easy. I've done it myself. I mean the fact that I live on a snow emergency route and we still have barely enough room in each direction to drive. we have parking on both sides of the street which is right now not existent. schools are closed because of the roads being still covered.

then that is the plow truck drivers fault. one person. period. not anyone else.
