Your first ob appt did your doctor go by your last period or your ultrasound to determine how far along you are and your due date? My ultrasound said 9 weeks and 6 days but then my doctor said I was 7 weeks and considering I didn't have any other exams done that day I was wondering how it went from almost 10 weeks to 7 weeks

I told the doctor I guessed on my last period because I had a lot going on the last few months but she insisted I was only 7 weeks

Hmm idk they went based on my last period till I had the ultrasound that showed the egg implanted and had a heartbeat it was only off by a week tho I think... And you could be 2 wks ahead or 2 wks behind that as well they don't know everything

I heard at just 7 weeks there wouldn't be a heart beat but on the ultrasound my baby had a heart beat and I could hear it very well

my doctor went by my last period and asked how certain I was. He also did an ultrasound the same day and measurements was right according to my last period so he didn't change due date

Mine goes off my last period. But they change their minds about the due dates quiet a bit when they start looking at the baby's growth and measurements. I knew the exact day of my periods because I always track it so my ultrasound showed about the same.
