7 years ago I had a daughter born at 33 weeks. she weighed 4lbs 2oz. She needed oxygen for the 1st 24 hours. she stayed in the hospital for 6 weeks after she was born.

my sister did. she had vasa previa and had to have her early. 5lbs 1oz. she did very good in the nicu. but I believe it all depends on the baby. she got out within 2 weeks

@mandalove, thanks. my daughter has measured a week ahead the whole time. but I've been having pretty consistent contractions and such and I'm trying to avoid her being born early but wanted to know what would happen if she was.

My son was a 34 weeker. He weighted 4lbs 11oz. He was really jaundice and needed oxygen. But we were both out of the hospital in 3 days.

yes and she couldn't properly digest breast milk or regular formula so it took them a while to figure out which 1 was best for her. then she came home at 6lbs.
