Need some advice. My boyfriend is overly jealous and paranoid about me talking to other guys. He's had a lot of girls in his life screw him over and cheat on him, so it's pretty understandable. However, I haven't cheated on him and when I talk to other guys, it's a short "Hi, how's your day? Okay, bye" conversation when he's not around. When I'm with him, it may be a slightly longer conversation but nothing he should worry about. Now, how do I go about talking to him about his insecurities and paranoia without making him upset? He's at the point where he wants to leave because of past events that have happened to him that he's scared of happening again with me.

My bf is exactly the same way!! 😐 I just tell him he needs to chill and I'm with him for a reason so he has nothing to worry about, it's honestly really annoying.😒 it doesn't help but he's toned it down a little bit

It doesn't help! It sucks. I told him if I was unhappy, I would tell him straight up. He still comes up with way out scenarios like I'm talking to my coworker when I go downstairs for break. It's terrible.

Same thing I tell my bf but he doesn't listen! I've honestly just learned to either ignore his comments or tell him "maybe you're the one doing shit since you're always accusing" ☝🏻️ it's ridiculous! You'd think me being pregnant would change him... NOPE. 👎🏻

I hand him the phone, and say, here, find out yourself. As long as he knows he can always have access that helps the insecurities.

you can't have a relationship without trust, who him your phone, tell him what you talk about with guys who text you, don't keep him in the dark or be sneaky. 2 months after I married my husband his ex girlfriend texted him at 4 o'clock in the morning so I took her number and I texted her and said to leave him alone. the next day I told my husband everything that happened and he felt better with me telling him instead of hiding it and not telling him . you have to be open with each other, especially if a child is involved.

I'm always very open, no lock on my phone. Whenever I try to show him, he says "You already deleted it, it doesn't matter"
