Thirteen weeks today and slowly starting to feel better since I was admitted a couple weeks ago. Did my make up today and finally feel like I'm somewhat decent looking unlike I have been. Wearing a tank top because I'm burning up right now. Just glad to be feeling better

lucky! I have an appt with my ob on the 9th I'll be 16 weeks I think if I counted right. But I doubt they will tell me! I think its a girl just from the wives tales and I keep getting the "mommy tingle" lol

@gabbator95, I was in the hospital for hypermesis gravivum (spelling?) I couldn't hold anything at all down. I ended up admitted twice for IV's I would get so badly dehydrated and I would dry heave and if there was mucous in my stomach I'd throw that up. I've been doing much better and baby and I are both safe. I passed out twice and got a concussion once. I had to have my boyfriend carry me back to bed sometimes I would get so weak I couldn't stand. thankfully Dallas has a grandma that is head of the matirintity department at the hospital so she got us taken care of quickly. We are doing much better but I won't be able to work due to all the dizzy spells and the risk of passing out all the time. I can barely get around the store or do light cleaning. I guess my body isn't taking pregnancy too well but so far the baby has been fine. Its me who has been taking the major hit

omg girl same here. well i havent been going thru what you went thru BUT i had my fair share of having a rough pregnancy.

@gabbator95, its not fun and I was even asked by an in-law if I was trying to kill my baby and I was like.... uh no... if I could hold down food I would be glad to do so and she asked because at one point in my life I was anorexic but trust me I didn't want to be throwing up I wasn't trying too. it sucks and many don't understand it.

for some women, being pregnant isnt exactly a walk in the park and for the women who had a easy pregnancy just dont understand cause they didnt go through the pain or torture we went through you know? so the best thing is to just ignore it!
