My son was on it beginning at 3 months old, it's no big deal, my son had acid reflux tho, but my son when he got full he always stop as soon as he got full. so that was the good thing.

6 months or when doctor says to I took some mommy classes and they said that over time they found that 6 months is best so they won't have food problem and not be obese

you don't always have to wait for the doctors ok to start giving them certain things they will always tell you other wise but my baby girl is 4 months I started giving her cereal at 2 months going on 3 months because she's an eater & I instead of me giving her more food than what she's suppose to have I giver her cereal to help fill her up & she's satisfied.

We got the ok to start at 4 months, but ask your pediatrician, every baby is different

@babykittykatt is right. My pediatrician gave me the go ahead at 4 months to start all foods. They will give you the go ahead when the time is right. Normal starting time is 6 months but if baby can hold head up real good they may do earlier.

@babykittykatt, I asked him at her last spot and he shrugged it off. I know most people start with cereal at 4 months, but I didn't know when I should start introducing her to it /:

Always always always ask your doctor and start when they say. Definitely no early then 6 months. Unless a doctor says otherwise.
