It's different everywhere of course, but where I'm at the earliest they will induce for no real "medical" reason is 41 weeks, and that's only one doctor that will allow it, the other two only will at 42 weeks.

ask about getting your membranes stripped though! I've heard that's helped a lot of women go into labor!

with your high blood pressure they might now I was 38 +1 when I was induced because of high blood pressure

@amymabundio, I assumed they would want to induce me due to my blood pressure. It's generally super low and since the first of the year has steadily increased to near hypertension. They were worried because of how low my BP generally is.

39 weeks is the earliest my doctors will let anyone have an elected induction.
