because they say the heavier your belly gets it can restrict blood flow to the baby or you or something I forgot lol but its difficult for me to breathe sometimes when I'm on my back anyways unless I'm propped up a bit by pillows..I lay on my back and sleep if I'm propped up slightly..but not FLAT on my back

I do. But it's hard for me to breath so I mainly lay on my sides.

I can't sleep any other way :( and I'm 38 weeks. my doctor said its better to get the rest you can than to worry about staying in a fixed position

yes until it becomes uncomfortable. I didn't until a few weeks ago. it became hard to breathe.

what @lynnbinn11 posted is correct. my doctor told me that right off the bat, but I can't sleep on my back anyway or I stop breathing
