did any of you mommies only take the 6 to 8 week maternity leave and if so do you think it was too soon?

thats another thing... I work 12 hour shifts at night Monday through Wednesday so Im considering keeping the girls (twins) at home during the day to save money because I dont want to pay for daycare for a 5 day week when I only need it for 2 to 3 @shandy69

@prettiladi_shan, getting on a consistent wasn't to bad but definitely had to work at it because I worked from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, so I had to get both girls up early & to daycare by 4:40 a.m. every morning. Such a dang chore!! :(

do you feel like your baby was on a consistent schedule that wasnt too overwhelming with you going back to work so soon? thats @shandy69 my biggest concern

I worked until the day my water broke at work then didn't go back to work until 7 weeks later. I had all my taxes in my savings account which helped because I was also sending my oldest to daycare on my maternity leave so I could have personally time with the baby :)

I def want my full 12 weeks off but I have a family trip in July that I will need pto for and from what I have been researching they make you exhaust all of your vacation time when you are on fmla which sucks!

That's what I want to do because I need the money but everyone tells me to take longer because I'll need it
