How many other mommies have started working on a Birthing Plan?

same here! I hated how my first and second labors went. my third was good I'm hoping that this time around they actually pay attention to my birth plan!!!

yes! I'm also having them delay the eye drops and newborn exams until after skin to skin and first breastfeeding! I'm also not allowing long stays in the nursery @hermommy I am still researching and looking into everything. thinking about no hep b but still looking into it

I would but they are opening a new labor and delivery center a few months before I'm due! I hear they have a huge tub for water births and that is definitely what I want to do!

@soon2bmomof3, you can still prepare a birthing plan! things you do and do not want during labor and delivery and after the baby is here! I plan on laboring in the tub as long as they'll let me. I don't want the amniotic sac broken unless absolutely necessary. it makes labor and delivery not as painful

I had my water popped with both my daughters and it wasn't terrible. but I really want to try a water birth.

@hermommy as soon as I find out the gender (hoping for a boy since I've got 3 girls) I'm gonna do more searching but I'm trying to convince my hubby no on the circumcision! he's not going for it though 😕
