@thehowtohippie, not always. The doctor with my OB for my last pregnancy was the one who was there for delivery....except my son had to be cut out...but he was there all through pushing. My OB now delivers babies on call.
Yeah every OB I've had has been the one that delivered both my babies.. But this time I dropped my OB a few weeks ago and haven't found one yet and I'm really near my due date so I was just wondering if I wasn't able to find another one what happened..
I'd just go to whatever hospital you're comfortable with, if you've been to one that has a transcript of recent medical records, that would be your best bet.
I'm already registered and everything at a hospital, I'm just scared not having someone there that I know and I trust. But I trust this hospital and it's rated one of the best in the country, especially the maternity ward so I guess I'll be okay.

what ever dr on call will deliver your baby

If you have one or not whatever dr is on call will deliver. It wouldn't matter if you did have a regular OB the on call dr is the one that delivers
