So I have a question. I have been going to my check ups regularly since I found out I was pregnant on November 9th. I was in pain today and went to the ER. My first ultrasound is scheduled February 1st that's the day I find out what we are having. Had an ultrasound at the emergency room and they said I was measuring at 10 weeks. which I don't understand. I have had blood work done and everything at my OB. How can I only be measuring at 10 weeks if I will be 17 weeks tomorrow. My last period was in September.

@candidbabex, that's how the doctor is where I go. I didn't have an ultrasound with my first son until I was 18 weeks.

@candidbabex, I know but it's ok. I have a check up appointment Thursday. I am going to tell my OB what he said. I am just so confused about everything

Half of the time hospitals don't know how to measure even use a heart monitor. I wouldn't worry.

If your going to the OB I'm sure they would have noticed this big of a difference. I would just let your concerns be known with your OB. Can you possibly get in any sooner? Or have a nurse you could talk to for peace of mind?

@deedee1987, I really think you should call first thing in the morning and express your concerns or see if they could get you in before Thursday.

@candidbabex, @julieann81 @saturn430 talked to my doctor. The ER was wrong I am measuring just a week behind. I can sleep now.☺☺☺ my doctor looked at the files from yesterday. She told me not to worry

I knew everything was okay. hearing it from the doctor I know made you feel better. hearing my baby's heartbeat makes me feel good.

@julieann81, she told me next time if I have to go to the ER to make sure they call her before they do anything ☺☺ heartbeats make me feel good too 😄
