how long does a C section procedure take ?

I was told I needed one at 10:30 and my son's official time of birth was 11:02. It's like 15-20 minutes.

Lol sorry I tagged you and not @paris055 lol it's 45 m and about 2 hrs in recovery .

I had to have a c section because my water broke i wasnt dialted at all they started me on pitocin let me dilate for 24 hours I got to 9cm and then they decided to check the position of him and found out he was breeched.

Mine took literally about 5-10 minutes

But mine was an emergency c-section Idk about how long the planned ones take

I'm scheduled for a C section February 9th I need to no what all they gone do to me what if I'm not dilated

About an hour total

You don't need to be dilated if it's a scheduled c-section. @paris055
