I had food poisoning at 20 weeks, which is similar and risky as well, and baby was just fine. You'd just need to stay hydrated and make sure you were keeping food and beverages down.

It won't hurt the baby but you can't take any medicine you'll just be super sick

@jleeann18, There are definitely different risks for pregnant women when it comes to the flu. I'd do everything you can to prevent getting it!
