❤ Anjels birth story ❤

I woke up at 8:30am to get ready for my 38 weeks check up I had at 9:15am, my mom taking me because my SO worked night shift and was going in the night to work as well so he needed his sleep. Anyways we get to my doctors apt & they start taking my vital signs and the nurse says your blood pressure is to high let go in to see the doctor and well check it again after she checks you. So my doctor, Dr ally checks me and Im only 1.5cm dilated. She tells me to go back to the nurses to get my blood pressure check and it was much higher! Immediately the doctor calls me back in to the room. I had just mentioned to the doctor early that all my family and friends who were having babys all had them before me and my due date was earliest and she says you know how you were telling me you were the only one who was still waiting well the wait is over youll be a new mommy by tonight or tomorrow morning! I got so nervous and excited! I started to shiver lol. My mom took me to my house to pick up my hospital bags and my SO was still sleeping. I woke him up and said babe its time! were going to have Anjel! sleep a little longer ( I was packing our stuff and putting on the edge of the bed) when you wake up take all these things with you my moms waiting for me outside. After we go to my house we went to pick up my grandma, my mom had my 2 year old sister and said shed probably need some help watching her. We got to the hospital at 11:00 am. The prepared everything gave me oxytocin to induce my labor btw I was already having contractions but I couldnt feel them. at 3cm dilated te broke my water and after that it took like 3 hours to get to a 4 and I stayed a 4 for like another 2 hours with my contractions being 1 to 2 mins apart, I couldnt take it I was screaming in pain really trying hard not to give into meds but then I asked for the one that goes in your iv and it didnt help at all! The nurses wouldnt let me get up or walk around bc I was high risk so all I could do was squeez my SOs hand. I remember getting a contraction and calling my mom and before I could catch my breath came the strongest contract I had! I screamed so loud and squeezed my moms hand so hard and all she could say is I know baby Im sorry just breath and I turned my head to look at my SO and he was terrified he stepped away from the bed as I screamed. I finally gave in to get an epidural but I still had to wait 30 mins so the other pain med could get out my system. I was still only a 4 after all that and when I got the epidural I went from a 4 to 9.5 in 3 hours! It was time to push! I kicked out everyone but my SO and my mom out the room and I pushed about 30 mins later Anjels head was out, the doctor grabbed my hand and let me feel his little head before I pushed him all the way out ❤. I was ready to hold my little man so I pushed and before I knew it I was in tears and hold my perfect little baby! Anjel Guadalupe De la cruz Castillo born at 9:04pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 weighing 7 pounds12 ounces and measuring 21 inches long 😍😍😍❤❤❤
