Easy way to get diapers at your shower. When you send out your invitations write " bring a pack of diapers or wipes to win a chance at a door prize" make up three small baskets. A kitchen basket, wine or juice basket or whatever you prefer to make. And give everyone that brings a pack of diapers and wipes a ticket when they arrive and after awhile pull three tickets for the door prizes. I did this when i was pregnant with my son i came home with sooooo many diapers. My husband and i didn't have to buy any for the longest time. Newborns 1's and 2's you will go through like crazy 3,4,5's your baby will be in the longest

buy whatever sizes but tape the receipt to the boxes so you can take them back and trade them in for different sizes (:
