Letting one of my belly button piercings close. I got it pierced a month before we got pregnant and 2 months before we found out. It never had time to heal properly before my belly started expanding. It has been very red and hurting really bad even after I got the pregnancy rings. I took it out today. Any tips on how to keep it from getting infected while letting it close?

I took my bottom one out for the exact same reason. It didn't heal before I got pregnant lol keep neosporin, bacitracin, or triple antibiotic cream on it for a week or so. You shouldn't have any problems (:

@brooklyn0516, thanks. Yeah it was my bottom one as well and I didn't want to risk anything. I'll just keep my top one in for now.

I have both. Have had both for YEARS.. But the bottom one is starting to like almost push itself out. Not reject just skin tightening.. I was thinking about doing the same thing.

Spray it thoroughly with saline solution twice a day and when you shower clean it with antibacterial soap!

The regular saline you can get for you nose is perfect
