Thought i would share my story.

Just a little background. My boyfriend and I have been dating going on 6 years. Our 2nd yr together we thoughy about conceiving. We tried and tried but never could. In August of 2014 we moved in together with no plans of having a baby. We were trying to save up and get things started with our lives. January 2015,im missing my period. My mom calls me and left a voicemail on a Tuesday to say she had a dream about fish and asked was i pregnant. Called her back later on and told her no. She had me thinking. On Jan 17 i rush to walmary to get a test righy before work. Get to work to take the test. Im on the phone with my boyfriend who is at work also. Boom! Positive. I cried a little and told him.He thought i was lying. He wanted me to take another test. Took another Sunday morning. Boom! still positive. We couldnt believe we were pregnant after so long,but it was most definitely the wrong time..Fast Forward. During my pregnancy,thank God my only complication was swollen feet,legs and hands ,oh and nose. My due date was September 21. And surprisingly,my boyfriend's birthday is September 22.He always wanted his son to have the same birthday.Well after the 22nd,still no baby. September 25 at 2am wake up to use the bathroom,wipe and see blood,mucus plug comes out. Since then contractions were 3-5mins apart. Things started in my back. In my mind,the contractions were strong. Get to the hospital at 1pm. Get checked in,on the fetal monitor. Nurse checks my cervix,havent dilated at all. I feel the contractions getting stronger while lying in the bed. Left the Hospital at 9pm than night at only 1cm. That night,im experiencing back labor. Constantly waking up to walk around the house. Slept with my mom. She would wake up to rub my back whenever i had a contraction which were still 1-5mins apart. 8am next morning trying to take a bath,but couldnt. My mom had to bathe me😂. Get to the hospital,im only at 2cm. Dr tells me i can stay. Back labor is no fun at all. Around 4 pm they check me,im now at 4 cm. They decide to break my water and give me an epidural. Didnt want one but i've never felt better. When they broke my water,they discovered my baby passed meconium. Around 7 everybody is leaving. 8-ish check me again 7cm. check again around 9-ish im at 9 cm. Im panicking and call my mom. We stay about 30mins away from the hospital. She was just getting out the tub. My family made by 10:15 pm. At 10:45pm i began to push. His heart rate started dropping so i had to push every other contraction. So finally at 11:31pm,i push out a baby boy by the name of Kai ,weighing at 8lbs 5oz 20.5in. I didnt get to see him long since he had to go to NICU. I cried when i heard him cry. I couldnt believe i had just became a mom. I fell in love all over again. Today,only 3 days away from being 4 months,Kai is horrible!😂😂 So active,always wanna be bounced. For someone who doesn't know how to walk,he doesnt like for you to sit down. He is 2 hand fulls. But he is so silly. His smile and laugh is just the best. I love him to death. I would do it all again.
