What do people think about the middle name James for a girl?

I have heard girls being called Jamie but not James. It sounds too masculine to me. I presume you mean for a middle name?

My friends middle name is Boyd and a girl from my town named her wee girl Gracie James xx

Yeah it would be the middle name... My other half would like her middle name to be James and it's after his grandad but I'm not to keen on it wanted to see other people views on it @zaralee71 X

james can be used for a girl's name, but i do see it as more of a boy's name. if its a middle name though it wouldn't be too bad. i went to school with a girl whose middle name was dale. x
