So my plan prior to getting pregnant was to move from the chi to a place that's warm.. I love my city with the life of me and will always have property here but I want to raise my baby somewhere else! Preferably some place warm.. Any suggestions? My SO is from Jamaica so we've been thinking of going there. I'm Puerto Rican and have lots of family in Puerto Rico as well so that's been an option too.. But before we think of islands I'd really like to consider states too. I just don't know where to start! Decisions, decisions..

If you want warm, consider Southwest Florida. I live in Cape Coral, and its got the same climate as Jamaica year round. Also, its a fantastic place to raise children with a low crime rate. I used to live in Boston (originally from there) and I am speaking from experience that this place is great to raise a family. Mind you, its incredibly boring here - but the next city oven, Ft. Myers, has plenty to do.

Texas. San Antonio is a great place in Texas to live. Very beautiful beaches to!
