What are your bassinet mattresses like? Mine is soft and when I lay him in it isn't totally flat. The edges curve up. It doesn't seem safe as far as SIDS prevention.

I used a sleep and play recommended by the doctor because it has a slight incline. It was wonderful and cheap

She has reflux. But it is snug and had an incline.
