Fasting is only my required for the 2 hour and 3 hour test. If you're taking the one hour it really doesn't matter what you eat, the test is seeing how your body reacts to sugar and if it can efficiently bring your glucose level down within a reasonable amount of time.

@mommy555, you're suppose to be fasting at least 12 hours before test. If you eat obviously your sugar rises and you would get a false high results. look it up love. Good luck
