I'm having the worst lower back pain and I'm only 12 weeks....scared of what's to come for me!!!…

i used a water bottle and filled it with hot water and tightened the lid and wrapped a towel around it instead of a heating pad. The shape of the bottle helped and I could roll my back with it for a massage feeling.

Thank you I like the sounds of that! I really do need a massage!

hot showers help me, I make it hot then just stand with my back facing, and sometimes I change the water pressure to harder.

I'm 25 weeks now, but I had lower back pain as early as you almost and hot showers worked for me as well!! Helps when the hubby joins !!! just sayin' lol

Same boat as you! 26 weeks now but back pain started really early. I agree with the ladies about the hot showers. As for sleeping, I finally had to break down and buy a snoogle - so worth it. I still wake up to switch sides and all that but am in a lot less pain waking up in the mornings!

Snoogle....is that a pregnancy pillow? Where did you buy it ? @@kayla94

@brynsmommie, I got mine from babies r us! it came to 90$ after tax sadly. but I tried using a normal body pillow before that and no luck with it

just a heads up. not to freak you out or anything but I had really bad lower back pain and it turned out to be a nasty kidney infection..after I let it go for like 2 weeks thinking it was just things moving and stretching. it's probably nothing but I thought I'd share, in case.

I don't see my dr until February 3rd but maybe I will try to get in earlier, just so she can check it out! My friend got a kidney infection when she was pregnancy so def a real, scary, possibility! @mcneilmommy
