anyone else confident about labor or should I be more worried? ever since I got pregnant I've gone with a feeling that my labor will be a breeze and I can do it (I know it'll hurt). I just don't feel like it's going to be as bad as some people say. is that weird?

@allisongarrett, thanks. my SO keeps trying to freak me out and I'm just like "I really don't think it's going to be that bad" I'm so ready for it to happen. I'm sure that once the time comes all this positive thinking will go out the window but might as well hold onto it while it lasts lol

@stephnagy2, my husband and I made a pact that were only going to talk about labor like we're going to do great and it's going to be breezy and have 0 negative thoughts going in although I'm sure I'll be going through hell haha. But to me it's one day of serious pain for the best present of your life! And our bodies were specifically made for this! We can do it!

that's what I keep saying, we are made to give birth and woman gave birth for yearsssss with no medication and I'd love to do that as well

Honestly it's not as bad as people phyc you out to be. I was induced and didn't start having super bad contractions until I was 8 cm and the cyst I had on my ovaries that burst hurt way worse than labor but tbh the epidural is a complete life saver once the contractions get extremely intense and you won't feel a thing if you decide to get it

I haven't decided if I want to get it yet. everyone says it's a life saver but I'd like to see if I could do it without. maybe wait till my second baby to do a natural that way I know more of what to expect @mommytoprinceaiden092915

honestly I think it a mind sit . both my previous labors were different from each other but it wasn't has bad as I was told when I was pregnant with my first son I felt the contractions but I slept till I was 10cm and with my son labor I was talking and laughing without any pain meds. what hurt more to was when they push on your stomach to get the blood clots out now that is was painful to me .

I wanted to try going without it but once the contractions get so close together it's hard to breathe. I got mine at 8 cm because I kept feeling like I was going to pass out because I kept holding my breath lol
