Between both breasts I'm only producing 1 ounce of milk. we have him some formula to go with the one ounce of breast milk and he ate it in like 30 secomds. I'm still waiting on my breasts to fill back up so I can pump but it's a shitty feeling that my son has been hungry so much because I haven't made enough to fill him up. he kept opening the scabs on my breast causing them to bleed while he eats and ended up spitting up blood 😖 all I could do was cry. I'm still pumping for him but it sucks I couldn't just exclusively breast feed.hopefully after this weekend of pumping I will start producing more milk

Sorry Hun , I wish I could exclusively breast feed but it's been so hard for different reasons. Keep your head up and make sure you baby has a really good formula in replace of your breastmilk.

@raising_carson16, get some mothers milk tea, drink lots of water and "power pump" every other hour

I pump every two hours and barely get anything. I only drink milk and water as it is but I'll try the mother's milk tea @dnhmommy3

@raising_carson16, the lactation consultant at wic encouraged me to power pump to increase supply. instead of pumping 15 min straight pump 5 stop 5 pump 5 etc. makes your body think the baby is eating more. just trying to be helpful because im going thru something similar. sorry if I offended

good luck with my first I was heart broken I wanted to breast feed but no matter how hard I tried nothing ever came in

hope everything goes well.. I was hoping at first to breast feed this baby but the more I think about the more I see how much time that takes and idk if it's best with having a 2 year old as well
