I'm not sure if this is a stupid question or not, but my doctor said that the mucus like discharge…

They say that extra discharge is a sign and that could b your mucus coming out (mine has been coming out in pieces since about a week ago) but u will only know if u really pay attention to it when u use the bathroom...but that also means that your cervix is softening/opening/dilating. The Braxton hicks cause me pain down there and I can sorta feel sore inside even if I don't have sex (which I haven't in about a month until last night 😌) and also can mean u r dilating also....if it starts to look like boogers then that is your plug coming out!!!

that's what I just said girl lol me and my doctor talked about it, he said it's most likely my mucus plug bc it's totally different from my regular discharge, but I'm asking if your vajayjay feels different when your dialating. like can you feel a difference when your dialating. @disa_nicole

You may feel cramping but one of my friends said she didn't feel a thing.....

I lost my plug a few days before I gave birth. I was already 4cm

wow. well I started taking medicine a week and a half ago for a UTI and my discharge was normal for the first few days, maybe a little yellow, pretty think and creamy I guess you could say but every now and then I would just see clumps of thick mucus been happening ever since, not alot but pretty good size, my doctor said the antibiotic wouldn't be the cause and its probably my plug and is going to check me in a few days. but I've been feeling funny since yesterday, I just feel different, lol @katienkaden

I thought my plug came out before because of discharge but when it actually did come out I knew that was it. It was a LOT more than the discharge I was having before. It came out one day and then the next day the rest. I gave birth to my boy at 40w5d. @wrd2016

well I told my doctor it was ALOT and he said its normal to lose it in pieces but that's what I've heard, that it's a lot lol @katienkaden

For your question though, I was shocked (happy though!) that I was 4cm a few days before my son was born. I didn't really feel any different I don't think me
