Fun day! Been for a private tour of my hospitals birthing centre/triage, then straight after to see the midwife. Fully engaged, estimated between 6&7lb;, and if he's not here by Friday (his due date) then I'm getting a sweep! To be honest I hope he's here before, not too keen on the idea of a sweep! My nannans always said since she had my auntie and mum "all embarrassment is lost as soon as you're giving birth" I embarrass EXTREMELY easily, not really looking forward to having a handful of docs/nurses/midwives seeing my downstairs area 😂

I get embarrassed easily to. but believe me, when your in labour. all that goes out the window. at first I felt so embarrassed to change into my top to get in the pool, when I was getting out believe me, I didn't care I stripped off completely got in a towel layed on the bed and my legs were wide open haha peed all over the midwife but I didn't care I was having a baby for gods sake haha

Sweeps aren't that bad, mine was pretty painful because my cervix was at the back but even still it only hurts for a few seconds, and trust me I get embarrassed easily and not one part of me felt embarrassed when getting a sweep with either a male or female doctor so don't worry too much if you have to get one xx
