I had 2, wanted to do boy #3 here at home (water birth), but my dr said he's worried about it since I have heart condition. So I will likely go the hospital, but I'm fixin to get particular. I want it quiet, dark, my aromatherapy, not wearing their itchy gown, no IV, etc. I'm sure they'll wish I had stayed home.
I want a natural birth, no medicines or anything. However, I had a car accident in September of 2014 that left me with a fractured hip so we'll see if that causes any pain.
I'm not sure about sites. I just jumped in my first one head first Lol. But this time what I will do is try to control myself more so the pain won't control me. If that makes sense. Birthing balls are good. Hip massages are excellent! Like while your having an contraction hubby could put pressure on your hips in a circular motion. Also breathing is key. It's going to be painful as labor should be but it's basically how you handle that pain. You can walk. Shower. Bath. I would also recommend staying home long as possible unless your hospital has a birthing suite.
nope none... I'm just going into it thinking that hey, my body is made to do this. I CAN do this... it's gonna hurt like a bitch, but the pain is only temporary. (: this is also my first child so I haven't went through it yet, so who knows, I may chicken out and get the epidural. lol but I'm really really gonna try for all natural!
@littlemissrainesmommy, @sexxymama83 @swtlilangl are there any good websites or books to read to prepare myself or do you have any good advice such as birthing ball, meditation techniques, etc
I'm planning on it (: I'm an extremely head strong person and all these people have told me that I won't be able to do it, well now I'm more than determined (: you can do anything!
@swtlilangl did you have them at the hospital or at home?! my first I had an epi and it was an easy birth but I really want to go all natural this birth
