@faithfulness88, I totally understand! I hate going to the dentist too! It scares me even though I work at one. Lol. They'll probably give you some pain medication too. Remember not to skip a dose stay on top of it. And the antibiotics work in like two day. But make sure to get the root canal or filling right after the antibiotics because if you think it's better and wait it'll just get infected again. Let me know how your appointment goes!

It's not much but it's noticeable. The pain is mainly on one tooth. That's why I rather go today than another day that it can get so much worst even the pain. I can deal w the pain but again I don't want it to get out of control.

@cheylee, Ibjust took Motrin because it hurts and that's how it started for me the tingling feeling. If I mess with my tooth it makes me feel a bit better but I notice that it's getting green on my gums so that's how I know it can be serious. I'm kinda boomed about it. :( But then again on my top tooth it's kinda green too so I don't know what's going on. I knew my teeth aren't clean I hate to admit it 😬😬😬 and it's embarrassing but I hate the dentist lol I'm so scared. But look what happened now. Should've taken care of it a long time ago. But the green stuff I just notice it.

@faithfulness88, the pain does start all the sudden. That's a normal symptom of an infection. Also a tingling feeling is normal. That's what started it for me. I had what they called a reversed abbess the abbess was on the inside of the root of my tooth. They only thing that helped was ice, if you put an ice cube on your tooth and you can't feel it, that means you have a dead nerve and that means root canal, if you can feel the ice then it might just be a simple filling. I hope it gets better! If you have any questions you can ask me. I know how unsettling it is to go to the dentist.

Thanks for replying!!!! @cheylee The pain started like two days ago and I have never ever had pain. Well besides my wisdom tooth that are all gone. But it hurt mainly on one tooth. I'm going today at 2pm. It freaks me out to see on google that some people get a bad infection that it goes by their jaw. My jaw started hurting too and I wasn't sure why.

Yes! And they hurt so bad!! I feel your pain! I'm a dental assistant. It's when the root of your tooth gets infected. It can make you so so sick! You need to get into the dentist and get antibiotics (amoxicillin) it'll take the pain away so fast! You'll probably need a root canal. And I promise they are not as bad as they say!:) I've had two.
