have any of you ladies previously used the birth control depo shot or are considering getting if after delivering..read this ! it may be very harmful ссылка
@crazytoast, I totally agree, I was going to get on it after this pregnancy I'm glad I'm stumbled upon this article and some insight from you guy's experiences
@preggobeauty3, I really wish they did more counseling on the pros and cons of the different birth control methods, instead it's like trying on shoes lol 😜
I was on the pill at first it totally regulated my cycle I even lost weight but then it quit working and messed my cycle up so I went on depo. Worst decision ever. I gained like eighty pounds in no time and I wasn't doing anything differently. The emotional ups and downs were terrible. I was in the grocery store and just started bawling because I didn't know what to buy. Probably almost worse than the pregnancy emotions. I haven't been able to lose back down to what I was at before I started it. I really regret it :-/
yeah I mean it wasn't a lot but it was a big difference for me to notice idk if it was because of the shot but it did start when I started the shot. I was scared of brushing my hair ._.
safest is to know your cycle and use diaphragm or condom or sponge or something during fertile week, for real 😕 All hormonal meds have something up. And they do NOT go in depth like that at the clinic....they just push them on you.
I am just going to get my tubes tied I guess because I have been wanting a hormone free solution. I've already tried the copper IUD and had bad experiences with it. I guess tying my tubes is my only option. @preggobeauty3
I was on it for like 3 yrs and it made me gain 50lbs, no .matter how hard I tried. got off and lost the weight in 1 month 😒 I went to nuvaring and it was awful too, then I went to diaphragm and I will never do hormones again EVER
yes, it is crazy. I did two shots and didn't go in for my third because of the insane effect it had on my mentality. I just read the article and had no idea that all of that stuff was happening to people, even babies!! crazy...very interesting read.
I didn't click on your link but got it when I was a freshmen in college and it made my bones soo weak and my hips and legs thick ... I hated it and worse when it doesn't sit well with your body you have to wait the three months to come out of your system :/
haven't clicked on the link yet but I will tell you that I took the depo shot about 6 years ago and it made me extremely emotional, almost psychotic in a way. I stopped after about 6 months of taking it because I figured out what was causing my distress. as soon as I stopped taking it I noticed a difference.
