I explained to my boyfriend a bedtime and daytime routine we should do with our one month old because he stays up all night and I don't sleep. Well he's a big gamer and the baby sleeps in our bedroom. I said your going to have to be quite and you can't yell at 9:30 that's when I'm putting him down. He says I don't care if I'm playing I'm not being quite well I'm the only one who gets up at night with the baby and I would like some sleep.. Does anyone else baby stays up at night? I can't take staying up all night and day. I'm going back to school to soon and I won't be able to sleep during the day. hmmm....

I do. but my fiancé works thirds. its really hard when your use to sleeping during the night. but getting a routine is really important. and weather the baby is in your room or not he should have some respect and be quite. not being trying to be mean.

if he isn't in school you should really talk to him about doing shifts at night so you have sleep for school. that's what me and my fiancé do for the weekends so I can catch up on sleep

yes baby shifts would be a great idea! that's what my husband and I did in the beginning. my daughter started sleeping through the night at 2 months! you should get your baby use to noises so that he can sleep through them and you don't have to worry about trying to be extra quite around baby. That's what we did from the beginning and she sleeps through just about anything! lol we still try to be a bit quite but it's not like we are stepping on egg shells.
