Anyone had Anti-D antibodies in their blood at 36 weeks? xx

I'm having mine next week D:

They don't check it at 36 weeks here. I'll be checked after birth then if needed they'll do another dose of antiD lol

Well they didn't check it...it just came up in my bloods for some reason(as I have my bloods taken every appointment to check my blood sugar levels as I am at risk of developing Gestational Diabetes) I've had my Anti D injection so confused why I would be producing antibodies when the Anti D is supposed to prevent that from happening?? @nashkay xx

Oh I see. That's why then. I haven't had bloods taken since 28 weeks lol yeah I dunno why that would be happening but I've heard that it can and some people do require extra antiD jabs

@winterbaby95, have u had a wee bump or anything or a bleed? I got told to go up even if dog jumps on me or if someone breaks suddenly and seatbelt digs in ! Thy call it a sensitised event I think xx

Had a tiny bleed after sex just after Christmas but wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't looked at the paper really closely or even looked at the paper at all xx @cmcdon203

@cmcdon203, that may b it love! I had to get a jag after that brown discharge and a jag after they cut me with that speculum even though that wasn't coming from my cervix xx

Yeah, I just didn't think anything of it as I had had bleeding before at 8 weeks and was told it was fine. I was never told that I had to have an Anti D for any bump or vaginal bleeding! If I had been told that before I would've gone in when I got the bleed mmm... It was boxing day though and I was still caught up with family because of Christmas xx

@winterbaby95, I knew I had to go up if I fell even if it was on my bum or if I bumped my bump off something but didn't know about the dog or seatbelt or anything! I think it can affect future pregnancies not this one but I'm sure if u get a jag right after baby then ur fine xx
