All car seats pass the same test on the market. There are no "safer seats" almost every brand has had a recall at some point in time, they send you a kit to fix it or a new seat. it happens

it does happen but this recall also included some britax strollers as well. it is unfortunate.

unfortunately a lot of baby products have had recalls and there will always be more. it's a good idea to register each thing...I do for all my big items like the car seats and such...this way they send emails letting you know if something is recalled.

@alauraandabdielsmom however, the amount recalls, reviews, and ratings all play a huge part in it...so i think there safer options out there.

@nuggetsmommy, All seats are equally safe used the correct way. The most expensive seats typically have all the extra padding and fancy latch connectors etc. But they are just as safe as the less expensive seats!
