Don't give him the satisfaction of being held when he wants it. he'll learn that being on you all the time is ok. I'm out of patience with animals too and my dog has been non stop whining for weeks now for no reason. he just stares at me and whines and then barks when I don't pay attention to him. so when he starts barking I put him in the room for an hour or so and let him back out. he's very slowly learning that he doesn't need constant attention to know that he's loved

could be that he knows you're prego and either wants to protect you or wants all the attention he can get before the new baby comes lol

Omg my puppy too.. He cries all day and he is potty training the smells bothers me so much ugh

its bc your pregnant dogs knoe trust me im pregnant and my puppy always wants to lay on my belly curled up and is very gentle with me

@steph_xo, he's a toy Yorkie my baby I adore him @arijane316 see I've babied him to much he sleeps with me every night etc he's 6 months old and lucky if he weights 5lbs my beds super high he can't jump up so he barks for me to pick him up and put him off the bed etc mine whines when I don't pay attention to him too. I'm sure it will, he may become protective of the baby which is a good thing but he'll always love mommy. and like the others that commented you'll have to lay down some laws for the spoiled baby if he gets too jealous.

@savysavage0, I know he's so cute I feel bad when I get mad with him he's just a baby too but my pregnancy hormones make me more short tempered to his neediness

@beautyoflife, aww lol that sounds kinda cute 💕 I had my friend visit with her 5 month old she was here an hour and he wouldn't stop barking at the baby and crying for me to pick him up. He was super jealous so I'm nervous idk what im gonna do when I have a newborn Baby he's not gonna react well

Mine sleeps with me too and I hate it because he's huge and takes up the whole bed but he won't sleep on the floor no thanks to my hubby teaching him to sleep in the bed. and he follows me around too. I can't go pee without him sitting next to him and if I close the door on him ha scratches at it and whines. it gets on my nerves

lol makes me think of another pregnant friend of mine, she's had her dog since she was real small and she's a spoiled brat lol I'll find out if the behavior has gotten better or worse since she find out she was pregnant.

so apparently she says that her baby snow white liked her bf more before she got pregnant and now she clings to her for dear life lol she feels you would know better if it will change after your baby is born since you seem to have had your puppy longer. I guess its just a waiting game from now. she's 7wks pregnant BTW, found out when she was 4wks and had her puppy just a couple months longer.
