I don't think the whole tit should be out, but tons of women bf in public and no one ever notices. if a girl can go out with her tits showing 5in of cleavage just to feel cute, a woman can bf her child, I don't care.

I agree! I guess I'm just not completely comfortable exposing myself like that in public, so I will have no problem covering myself up with a nursing cover, but I understand other mommas who decide otherwise!!

I kindly disagree with you. I said the same thing when I was pregnant. I was going to cover up and not feed in public. My believe changed once I had my daughter. It's hard (for me) to cover up my daughter in public , she got really hot under the cover and refused to eat, after that I tried without a cover using the 2 shirt method. Worked like a charm! Got to feed my baby and nobody seen my nipple or boob. It's hard to keep a cover on a baby once they get a little older and start to move around a lot, but to each their own! 😊 As long as the babies are eat, that's the main priority

I personally will go in another room, but that is my preference because my bazoombas are so huge; I have to basically disrobe to get it out and it is it is a comfort thing. But my other mommy friends whip theirs out and it doesn't bug me. Even had a friend hover over the baby's car seat, feeding while I was driving down the road, no big deal.

I agree, if baby is hungry, baby needs food no matter where you are! but while eating in restaurant with family's right next to you, out of respect for other people's beliefs and respect for them not wanting to have that conversation at the dinner table with their 3 or 4 year old if you want them to respect you, I feel like you should respect them. that's all. not to mention they have specific feeding rooms at clinics and such.

@mommabear2b, I'm sorry I miss worked that. I didn't mean that you wouldn't feed your child in public! Now, for me ha if my whole breast out is out of my comfort zone I would never expose my whole breast I put two shirts on and just the top one to cover my areoles and babies mouth so you don't see anything, but some mamas feel comfortable enough to do so. There is a discrete way to feed in pubic if any mama chooses so 😊 ( just saying i know general)

I have always nursed in public and have never used a cover because my kids would not eat when they were covered and would get so hot. I also think using a cover draws a lot more attention to what you are doing. The two shirt method works great and most of the time no one can even tell what you were doing. However if a woman wants to have her breast completely out while feeding her baby I have no problem at all with that.

I totally agree with you both. I just know people near me that whip it out and expose themselves completely in public showing everything to anyone completely and I find it disrespectful to other people's opinions. I feel like it gives people more of a reason to say bad things and it's horrible because baby's should be fed with out any say thst it's wrong.
