i did with my first i didn't really feel it because i was in so much pain from the contractions my son was only 5lbs&13oz; they had to give me stitches afterwards it hurted after i got home i couldn't poop for couple of days then it healed. im scared ill go through the same with this one since he's already 7lbs
I have had it happen with all.4 of my previous pregnancies. I never knew it happen till they told me. it will be ok. they did have to stitch me every time..didn't feel them.doing it because I was to busy looking at my babies while they were cleaning them.up
Yes i happened to me with my 1st I'm so scared it will happen again!! I was thinking i was gonna try to do it this time with no meds because they had to turn my epidural off because i couldn't feel the contractions. I looked @ live births on you tube.. SO made me wish he didn't so i will be getting an epidural again. My midwife told me it is common in 1st pregnancies. Just in case get the epidural so IF it happens you won't feel it.
I had an episiotomy and ripped with my first, but didn't have either happen with my second, and she was 9lbs! so it just depends, if happens more your first one.
it happens I had it happen to me with 2 of my deliveries. I was mad when I had my third daughter because instead of letting me tear naturally my stupid stupid doctor that I had decided to do an episiotomy after I signed forms saying not to do one so she legal
A couple of people I've met didn't tear at all and I'm trying what they did in hopes I won't either. There are stretches you can do to start opening up down there and begin stretching. The most highly recommended thing I've come across is doing perineal massages. Every night I do perineal massages with grape seed oil and a drop of geranium essential oil (I think it'd be really beneficial with any safe oil and have read that olive oil is a good option too). This next one isn't meant for tearing but I think it'll help as well...I've also been inserting evening primrose oil pills starting at 37 weeks. I did a good bit of research before starting the pills as they are said to induce labor. The capsules dissolve and in the morning oil comes out. I've definitely noticed I'm very soft down there and I'm hoping all of this will help prevent tearing.
I'm hoping I don't tear girl...I can't imagine...a girl I work with said she didn't rip either and she think It's because she only pushed when she contracted...like going with the flow @muva.mermaid
