This sucks. This UTI is causing me so much pain, and is now making me nauseous. Wish I could take the meds prescribed to me. But until I talk to my midwife tomorrow, being that I saw the on call midwife that I've never met today and she prescribed the meds, I dont trust it. Its Macrobid, and the pharmacist told me about 3rd Tri risks with taking it. Idk what to do. Ugh 😧

i took macrobid the second trimester and the third trimester my doctor put me on another medication i dont remember which one

Macrobid is safe I took it and my baby is fine. You might want to start them utis can get bad really fast.

Or try cranberry juice and lots of water to flush it out

During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. It must not be used if you are near the end of your pregnancy (38-42 weeks), or at the time of labor and delivery. Doing so may cause a certain blood disorder (hemolytic anemia) in your baby. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
your not 38 weeks. so you'll be fine plus you want that cleared up before baby. my daughter takes that daily to keep uti's away(she has a refluxing urethra) @sarahemccormick
